About the Item
Late 1950s or early 60s Mr. Blackwell silk shift dress in a dark cream/natural color. Square neck, short sleeves. Back metal zip with tiny bow at top.
No garment label, feels like mid-weight silk. Natural slubs throughout.
No size label, best fits US 2/4, see measurements.
Bust 32".
Waist 27".
Hip 36".
Length (shoulder to hem) 40".
Excellent condition, gently worn with no notable flaws. Zipper may have been replaced. There is a pale green chiffon panel at front chest that looks like it was added by the original owner, fastened at the sides of inner bust with just a couple stitches. Easy to snip out if you would prefer the dress without.
