As not everyone might be familiar with the designer behind this very successful Italian couture label, following some words about Andrea Odicini: "The Genoese couturier is of incredible refinement and one of the most important ambassadors of haute couture. Cut simply, it ends just below the knee and features a round neck and cap sleeves with small shoulder pads. But, what makes it exceptional and outstanding is the wide row of black raffia fringes that highlights the hem and gives the dress just the perfect amount of weight, depth and movement. So when you move, it creates that typical rustling raffia sound. I love, that hidden between the plain raffia ribbons some with small black fabric flowers decorated ones are placed here and there. They catch your eye and add that certain-something effect. The dress is lined throughout with a fine black silk and closes with a back hidden set zipper. Tagged an Italian vintage size 46.
