About the Item
Upcycled Antique Cotton Night Dress from the late 19th Century. Shaped as a flared shirt dress with original embroidery on the collar and front. The bib is embroidered with lovely period 19th C. designs and openwork.
Contemporary hand embroidery in black have been added to this antique night dress.
Corn Sawflies in flight are embroidered throughout the body of the dress with maggots embroidered inside the bib and on the cuffs. A simple twill ribbon serves as a belt.
Upcycled, sustainable fashion.

Chest 44", Shoulder 5.5", Sleeve 21". 44 ' long, 52" waist
arm hole 15" smaller size. Fit is determined by the shoulders as the night dress has an A line full shape.
