A beauty to behold and rendered in a palette of pinks, this original 1920's burnout silk dress, with a pattern of blooming flowers and pomegranates, is truly a piece of art/
The rounded neckline is framed by a pink silk chiffon edge, which sets off the simple shoulder line and sleeveless cut. The simple A line cut of the dress, showcases the incredible silk fabric, while accenting the timeless design of the era. This dress is sheer, and one may want to wear a dress slip to conceals ones' modesty.

Size: UK 6 US 2
Condition: This dress is in beautiful vintage condition but is not perfect. Both armpits show signs of discolouration and yellowing to the fabric This dye has slightly bled along either side. There is a small seam mend along the back of the right hand side armhole. I feel the fabric is so beautiful and rare, and the style so effortlessly classic, that these armpit stains do not overly detract the eye. This piece should be purchased by a tree collector who appreciates the design and fabric. We recommend great care when wearing this piece as the silk is over a 100 years old. Please refer to the photographs as these form part of the product description.
