About the Item
This timeless and iconic 1950's dress, rendered in a white layered tulle, with delicate pleated rayon accents, is the perfect piece for that special occasion.
The strapless neckline of the dress, features a sweetheart décolletage in soft white pleated tulle. The fitted and boned bodice, boasts a pleated rayon panel, which radiates from the side of the right hand side bust-line and joins the left side seam, beneath a decorative rayon bow. The cinched in waistline, sets of the near full circle cut of the skirt, which is accented by tiers of pleated and gathered tulle. The skirt is lined in a layer of rayon and a layer of simple tulle finished with a pleated and tiered hemline, creating added volume to the skirt, whilst completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette. This dress has been photographed with a medium petticoat for added volume, this is not included within the listing.

Closures: This dress fastens at the side with a 13 inch metal zip and a hook and eye
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Some very light water makes and age marks along the train of the decorative bow to the waistline. Minor and internal repairs to the tulle, which is to be expected. A few very small scattered holes to the tulle. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
