About the Item
Rendered in a wonderful cream crochet, this original 1960's Mady Gerrard cream crochet dress and matching jacket is the perfect statement piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a simple shoulder line and a sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice of the dress, showcases a lace crochet stitch which draws the eye to the fitted waistline. The elegant fitted long line of the skirt, is edged with a scalloped detailed hemline, which creates a gentle flare along the base of the silhouette. The matching jacket, sits perfectly above the dress, and boasts an open V shaped neckline. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, which are edged with flared scalloped cuffs to match the hemline of the dress. The simple cut, completes this ensemble in a classic and iconic 1960's silhouette.
This dress is sheer, and may need to be worn with a dress slip, to conceal ones modesty.
