About the Item

This vintage 1960s minidress is so adorable, it's almost unreal. Originally made as a a sort of bathing/leisure suit, it comes with matching bloomers that make the micro-mini length more wearable. I also adore this piece layered over pants or a skirt as a tunic (rather than a dress). (Note that the model is 5'10") The white pique cotton fabric is contrasted by the gorgeous floral embroidery at the belt— it sits under the bust for an empire waist shape. Cups are built into the chest, with hidden elastic under the bust at the empire waist, for a flattering yet comfortable fit. Buttons at top of shoulder straps make them adjustable in length. The bloomer pull on, with a hidden elastic high waist, very bloomer-like voluminous shape, and elastic stretch at leg opening. The bloomers are fully lined, and the dress is lined above the waist. This is such a fun vintage bridal option for a free-spirited welcome lunch, beach setting, a honeymoon, etc. The Vintage Mother of Pearl Disc Earrings pictured are also available. Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small and Small, possibly Medium, but please refer to below measurements and notes to be sure. Also note that it is shown on a model who is 5'10" so it won't look as short on someone shorter. Chest: 32.5" laid flat; NOTE: there is a lot of flexibility to the chest measurement because of the deep V in both front and back, and the built out cups.
