Early 1940s Custom made, old Hollywood silky black Jersey gown with shoulder drape. Couture quality, this gown is sleek
modern the fabric is a weighty matte jersey that drapes beautifully. Low and wide square front neckline dress with a high draped bust, the drape crosses the front and is sewn to
drops over the left shoulder top and flows to about the hip back. We have left the original large crystal rhinestone brooch pinned to the neckline. The shoulders are discretely padded, long sleeves have subtle bell cuffs. The dress barely skims the body and falls in an A line to the hem. There are on seam side pockets at about the hip. Closes at the side with a painted metal zipper. The dress is unlined. Fits like a modern 4.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
