Exceptional Jean Desses Haute-Couture custom dress straight from the Düsseldorf exhibition in Germany. Jean Desses creations are rare, unique and highly collectible. He is one of the most important designers of the 20th century and was a designated Haute Couture house under the official Chambre Syndicate de la Couture. This exquisite garment dates back to 1955 when Jean Desses housed his atelier at the famous 17, Avenue Matignon address. Fashioned from exquisite navy-blue lined silk-chiffon, this show-stopper has everything a woman wants. The bodice is a seductive low-cut scoopneck with bow-tie trimmed illusion sleeves. I adore the gathered shelf-bust and button detailing. The hourglass nipped-waist flatters the figure while the yards and yards of fabric making up the pleated skirt come alive with the slightest movement. With examples of Jean Desses fetching over $30,000 at auction, here is a wonderful opportunity to own a garment from one of the original masters at a fraction of the cost.
