Rare early 1960s JAMES GALANOS for Bonwit Teller ivory Irish linen Avant Garde dress ! This gem is seriously a musuem worthy couture piece from Galanos' early work. Couture quality, with the majority of the construction completed by hand. Buttons up the front with hidden snaps in between. Pockets at each side of the hip. Scalloped sleeves with a matching collar. Can easily be dressed up or down for day or evening. Pair with wedges, sandals or flats for day, and heels for evening.
