About the Item
Lovely 1970s hostess gown/duster, from the London based brand Biba. The dress features an open V-neckline with an oversized pointed collar. The sleeves are a wide bell shape was a single tiered ruffle. Gathered empire waist that flows into a long full length skirt. Tie at waist that can be secured to your liking at the front or back. Crafted from lightweight black cotton that is single ply sheer. The bust is the only part of the garment that is lined, and it is still slightly see through. Fastens at the empire waistline with a single hook and eye. A piece of 1970s London fashion history. Very good vintage condition.
