About the Item
This is a stunning vintage jersey muslin chiffon cocktail dress from the 1970s. It is cut to a flowing silhouette typical of the era, with long open batwing sleeves and a full, swirling skirt. The mandarin collar has a drawstring at the neckline. The dress has an elastic waist with a sash. The batwing-style sleeves are finished with a cuff and fully open from underneath. The skirt section has a quality acetate under the skirt attached to the waistband. The top of the dress is also lined with an acetate lining.
The fabric is a soft jersey, slightly transparent, in an autumnal hue with ferns and flowers design print.
