About the Item
This 1970s maxi dress was bought in Paris and is crafted from man-made peach chiffon splashed with bold lilac and pink florals. Pleated all over with an innovative technique that ensures the folds remain when wet or washed, it has a playful ruffle finish at the bust, waist and bottom hem. The delicate spaghetti straps are in coordinating fabric and it is lined in pale apricot acetate / viscose. A tonal peach zip closes the back. This dress is unlabelled but of excellent manufactured quality and shimmies with a beautiful rippling movement as the wearer walks. It would make a very special occasion dress or even an alterative wedding dress. In superb vintage condition with no flaws of any note and suitable for sizes up to a UK 10 or US 6. This dress fit our model well, she is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in / 180 cm.
