About the Item
Sleek and sexy Carolyne Roehm black silk gown from the 1980s. Strapless with a u shaped cut out at the bust. The fabric ruches around the cut-out creating outward draping. Skirt skims the body and tapers at the bottom in a slight cocoon shape. Interior corset with boning to the gown fits snug and does not need to be pulled up and adjusted when wearing. Zipper up centre back seam. Very good vintage condition - some light snags in the fabric, that are not noticeable when wearing. Made in the USA. Fits like a US size 4.
