About the Item

Amazing 1980s three-piece dress set by Kamal Haute Couture Munich. It consists of a bustier top, a skirt and a wrap or sash made from a wonderful shocking pink and emerald green dupioni silk. The fabric has a subtle iridescent metallic sheen to it that catches the light so that the entire dress shimmers at your slightest movement. It is quite light but do hold the intended shape of the skirt fabulously. The bustier is cut with a strapless, sweetheart neckline and hugs the body. It is elaborately gathered at the front with hand placed and gathered folds and closes with a row of hooks and eyes. The high-waisted knee-length skirt features three tiers and a wide waistband. It is lined in the same silk fabric and closes with a center back zip and two fabric covered buttons. The set comes with a matching silk wrap or sash that is in the same vibrant pink as the bustier. You could style it a variety of ways. Having the three separate pieces makes the set very versatile because you can wear it all together for the full look, or mix and match with modern pieces from your wardrobe. It is beautifully made and wonderfully extravagant. Labeled "Kamal Haute Couture En Soie Munich" and tagged a German vintage size 38. Excellent vintage condition. Appears to have been worn very little, if at all.
