About the Item
Dramatic jet-black and light pink mini dress with layered lace and ribbon ruffles designed by Loris Azzaro dating to the 1980's. During this time, Azzaro was experimenting with volume and proportions and this is a perfect example of that work. This dress has such a strong architectural shape to it but the color and fabric choice soften the look. Despite the volume, the dress is quite light weight. The bodice is constructed with an inner bustier for support. The skirt is made of dozens of yards of alternating ruffle and lace trim and has layers of tulle crinoline underneath to support the shape.
No size is indicated however the dress best fits a US 6-8. Measures approximately: 34" at bust, 27.75-28" at waist and is 29" in length. It should be very fitted at the bodice. Inner bra is best for a US 34-36 B/C.
Zips up back and secures with a hook. Fully lined. Crinoline interior.
Made in France.
