About the Item
Over the top fabulous Nina Ricci gown from the 1980s. Top is cut black velvet with gathering at padded shoulders and a deep V-neckline inset with elegant black lace. The red silk taffeta skirt with all over black velvet roses starts just under bust and is fitted through the waist with ruching. Black velvet trim through the centre of the ruching bends towards the left hip, where the skirt gathers. Tulip hemline. Back of skirt fastens with a zipper closure, while the black lace fastens with small buttons. Perfect for your next black tie event. Excellent vintage condition. Made in France. Marked size FRA 44, fits like a US size 4/6.
