About the Item
1980s Patricia and Charles Lester drop waist evening gown. Navy and indigo devoree velvet with a symmetrical leaf blockprint throughout. The bateau neckline balances the drop shoulders, Dolman sleeves and an elasticized blouson drop waist skirt. The full length sleeves are finished with velvet covered buttons. There is an interior silk panel with an elasticized hem that could be worn up around the bust or down at the knees. The skirt is meant to hit at the maxi length. Excellent vintage condition, made in Wales. Fits a size 6-10.
