Extremely rare Jacqueline de Ribes evening gown dating to 1985. Entirely hand-finished, the construction reflects the level of craftsmanship one would expect from haute couture. Designed in rich black velvet, the gown is contrasted with sheer, silver-toned lace forming the long sleeves and upper bodice. A dramatic triangular lace inset at the waist creates striking visual geometry, elongating the silhouette while highlighting the waistline. There is no size indicated however this gown best fits approximately a US size 4 or possibly a slim 6. There is no stretch to this fabric and this was not clipped on the size 2 mannequin.

Dress cleverly zips up side and around front to follow the lines of the dress.
Hidden zips at inner wrists.
