About the Item

Though it’s almost a half century old, this cocktail dress—with its oversize front bow, puffed shoulders and cinched waist—could have walked off the spring runway. It is a perfect mother-of-the-bride dress, brunch frock or cocktail dress with extraordinary sparkle and brilliant color. Long sleeve cocktail dress with plunging front neckline, puffed shoulders, tapered sleeves and wide taffeta cummerbund waist; oversize center waist bow with pavé rhinestone “knot.” Front nylon zipper closure with 1 ½” rhinestone zipper pull; three metal tabs and hidden snaps beneath secure bow to dress front. Hand-finished zipper, hem and wrists; piped neckline and front kick pleat.
