About the Item
Bellville Sassoon 1990’s Black Long Sleeve Gown - Size 8 This 1990’s gown is made of a poly blend fabric but gives the appearance of silk, velvet and crepe. The gown is fitted to the hip area and then does a gradual flare to a flow skirt towards the bottom. The gown was designed by Lorca Mullany during his time period at Bellville Sassoon. The gown has a sheer top and sleeves, a upside down V shaped velvet looking panels (3 ), round sheer neckline with small button at top back of collar with a 12” opening. The back of the gown has a 16” zipper and is fully lined. There is a Bellville Sassoon Lorca Mullany Label and a Lafayette Galleries Paris NY label as well. The gown is in very good vintage condition with some very minor wear. The measurements are:
