Exquisitely beautiful Ceil Chapman evening gown from the 1950's. The epitome of midcentury Hollywood glamour. A holy grail gown for any vintage darling enamored with this bygone era of true glam. Chapman's designs were favored by many starlets and socialites of the day, and was even a favorite of Marilyn Monroe.
This high-shine slipper silk gown oozes femininity in the perfect shade of blush pink. A simple and elegant column silhouette gown expertly constructed to flatter the figure. They just don't make them like this anymore! The layers of silk at the bodice give the allusion of petals. Internal boning at the bodice and detailed darting from the empire waist down to the natural waist. Swag draping at the back of the gown for an extra touch of regal elegance.
Excellent condition commensurate with age.
