Long evening dress in cream salmon Caudry lace dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Loose, straight cut, V-neck, gathered at the shoulders and slightly flared at the bottom, forming a mini-train at the back. Three-quarter length sleeves with small puffs tightened by elastics at the elbows. Small triangular yoke under the front breast and gathered pleats at the bottom of the back adorned with a large rhinestone buckle (some stones missing). Under-dress in powder pink silk crepe with two-tone transparency and cream lace with large flowers. No side zip or label. The tulle bottom is very slightly missing, but otherwise clean, with no holes or stains. Good colour and condition.
Dimensions: Equivalent to size 38 France. Shoulders 38 cm, chest 90 cm, waist 78-84 cm, hips 93-100 cm, front height 135 cm, back height 141 cm, sleeves 47 cm.
