About the Item

If you wish to make an « Red Carpet » appearance at your next event, you can rely on this fantastic 00's Ungaro set composed of a maxi skirt, a blouse and a ruffled shawl. The maxi skirt is designed to be worn with the coordinating blouse, but it will look just as good pared back with a simple white tank. Expertly made from printed silk-chiffon woven with gold « fil coupé » that shimmers across the surface, the skirt skims your curves, while the peasant-style blouse provides more a bohemian flowing silhouette. The beautiful drape that cascades into a sweeping train with its the extra-long, mermaid-like hem should be balanced with a pair of platform heels. Fully lined with matching color silk-chiffon, the evening skirt is labeled an Italian size 42 (US 6 / UK 10 / FR 38) but runs a little bit small to size. Similarly to the skirt, the blouse can also be worn on its own. Cut from airy silk-chiffon, it is printed with the same romantic pastel "pointillist" pattern. The blouse has a round neckline and billowy sleeves that can be tied (or not) at the cuffs (see picture 7). An adjustable soft tie is to be found at the front of the bottom of the blouse. It can be knotted or left to flutter (see pictures 12 13). Unlined, you can underpin it with a neutral bralette or tone-on-tone tank top. Although wearing it next to the skin remains the most glamorous option ! No size tag but it feels like an US size 4-6 (UK 8-10 / FR 36-38 / IT 40-42). The matching shawl/stole is made of double layer muslin and features a pretty ruffled hem. Fits approx. : US 4-6 / UK 8-10 / FR 36-38 / IT 40-42 This item has been professionally cleaned, pressed carefully inspected by a couture-trained seamstress before being sold.
