Gene Shelly's formal and cocktail beaded garments are much sought after and are absolutely extraordinary. This Gene Shelly dress is no exception. Completely covered in hand-sewn pastel blue and aurora borealis iridescent sequins... the time it must have taken to create this dress! For those new to Gene Shelly dresses, they were hand-beaded in the previously British colony of Hong Kong, which was known for the high quality beading during this time period. The base of Gene Shelly dresses are a super-soft wool knit, giving a great feel against the skin and lots of flexibility of movement. Gene Shelly dresses are incredibly sexy yet very easy to wear. This is a Marilyn Monroe-worthy dress that would be the perfect look for any formal event - weddings, galas, cocktail parties. You'll stand apart! Features of the dress include: * Light blue super soft wool knit completely covered in hand-sewn iridescent ice blue and aurora borealis sequins * Gorgeous tonal Moroccan trellis roping pattern with seed-beaded daisies * Spaghetti straps * Talon metal zipper at the back * Sexy wiggle dress silhouette * Hits just below the knee * Tag reads Gene Shelly's Boutique Internationale California, Made in Hong Kong, 100% Wool, RN 27049 No size tag.
