About the Item
Geoffrey Beene metallic dot, forest green silk panne velvet maxi dress from the 1980s. Silky panne velvet with a pattern of sparkly metallic dots throughout. This beautiful dress has a jewel neckline and features raglan sleeves. The bodice front is gathered at the angled upper shoulder seam fronts and neckline. The neck, sleeve cuffs and hip tops are done in a signature Beene technique of horizontal quilting. The skirt of the dress is softly gathered at the hip and tapers to the hem, the skirt hem front features a deep front vent. The bodice and sleeves are lined in black soft crepe. The skirt is unlined and seams are finished. The dress closes at the back with a zipper and hook
eye. In very good pre-owned condition. Fits like a size small.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
