Rare vintage Germaine Monteil c.1930's black silk velvet belted floral lace evening gown. Long dolman sleeves with six covered button detail and four concealed snap closures at cuffs. Square neckline with floral lace inset and center front dual bow detail. Five hook and eye closures at left shoulder. Long floor length skirt. Twelve left side seam snap closures and two hook and eye closures. Thin adjustable velvet belt with fabric covered rectangular buckle attached by two thread chains at back. Unlined. Unmarked Fabric Content: Silk. Unmarked size. Measurements:
Shoulder/Sleeve: 32.5” (nape of neck to cuff, measured on back)
Chest: 32” (armpit to armpit)
Waist: 28” (narrowest point)
Hip: 34” (measured 6" below waist)
