Circa 1958/1960 France
Jacques Griffe Haute Couture dress in cream guipure and fuschia organza muslin dating from the late 50s. Silhouette near the line Tonneau Balenciaga with its high waist and tilted back corset. Dress with high low-cut neckline and backless with boned bustier in cream embroidered guipure lined with cream taffeta. Support of the corset with an inner cream grosgrain belt. Skirt in double thickness of fuschia organza giving volume and fluidity. Straight under-skirt in matched taffeta with rigid band of tarlatane lined at the bottom for the support of its volume. Large matching scarf tightened by pleats with links allowing the tightening and its arrangement in several ways. Closure of the dress on the left side by zip and hooks. Label white background black graphics Jacques Griffe Evolution Paris Boutique Made in France. Very Good condition of color and conservation.
