1968 Documented Paisley Silk
Lurex Gown. Silver metallic brocade, with gold passementerie neckline, empire maxi dress from 1968. This gorgeous dress was created by Herbert Kasper who started designing for Joan Leslie in 1965 after working with Jacques Fath, Christian Dior, and Marcel Rochas.
Silver metallic dress with hints of orange gold throughout in a subtle paisley design. The dress features a deep V neckline framed with gold cord woven with a silver center, the empire waist sits above the normal waistline. Long Sleeves have zipper cuffs. The skirt is gathered below the bust and falls full to the hem. There are hip front pockets at each front side seam.
The dress is lined in sheer opaque white rayon, the interior has pinked seams. Closes at the back with a zipper
hook
bar at the neck back. Fits like a size 4. In very good pre-owned condition. Perfect for any special occasion.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
