About the Item
A very playful and unusual vintage late 1960s early 1970s red silk dress with black tassels on the bodice and around the hem by high end designer Jo Copeland. She designed for the fabulously expensive label Lisa Meril which was owned by Ricard Pacun in New York after another design collaboration with Pattullo closed. This dress would have retailed for close to $800 nearly 50 years ago. This beautifully made dress features a scalloped edge around the hem and neckline. It is fully lined, fastens at the back with a zip and is in truly excellent vintage condition with no faults to mention.
