About the Item
The Lesage Paris atelier used silver and white beads and cream silk and silver metallic threads to create the honey bees on this silk taffeta vest from Maggie Norris Couture. Documentation can be found on the designers website and Instagram account. The vest is man tailored with notched lapels and one breast and two hip pockets, covered buttons and a half belt at the back. It is fully lined in striped silk and cream satin. The accompanying evening skirt is made from silk georgette in the style of the 1930's. It is bias cut with pin tucks at the center front and again over the hips, with three layers of georgette adding to the ultra feminine look of the skirt. It is lined in silk and marked a size 6. Both pieces are in excellent condition.
