Libertine Fall/Winter 2013 jacquard dress as seen on the runway. Libertine famously takes vintage silhouettes into the 21st century with their whimsical pop-art style embellishments that they adorn true vintage pieces with. The dress Libertine chose as a canvas is a 1960’s blue floral jacquard wiggle dress with a boxy cropped top over piece that gives the illusion of a two piece set. The blouse has a crew neckline, elbow-length sleeves, and a panel of fringe at the center waist. Shimmering rainbow colorful embellishments such as studs, rhinestones and sequins decorate the blouse portion of the dress. The dress hugs the hips and tapers in at the knee for wiggle silhouette. A fabulous piece that carries a playful and artful sophistication.
