About the Item
Marie Pierre Tattarachi's black matte jersey gown with dramatic back interest. Large padded roll shoulders, a vestige of the precedent disco period anchors the clean, long lines of the gown.
A massive draped cowl falls from the shoulders on the back of the dress with extra long lean gathered sleeves which end in a point on each wrist.
M.P.Tattarachi's star shone short and bright as one of the innovators of 80's Parisian RTW. Her iconic pieced cotton and faux fur coats were copied in the States by the thousands.
This is an extremely elegant gown, but, it does help to be thin and tall as was the previous owner. The liquid matte jersey renders this an entrance worthy gown... the epitome of a great 80's "piece" which is both timeless and effortless. Small size.
