Effortlessly elegant Dries Van Noten dress from the mid 1990's. Crafted from a richly textured black brocade that catches the light with subtle nuance. Minimalist front features a crewneck and cap sleeves. The back has a long sculptural tie detail that adds volume and movement to the rear. This piece transitions seamlessly from day to evening. A hidden back zip ensures a sleek finish, while deep side cutouts nod to the label's signature play on structure and contrast. Very interesting piece. This is one of Dries' earlier garments when production was primarily centered in Belgium and when the brand's aesthetic was developing its cult status. Excellent vintage condition. Marked size 40.
