Mignon Silk Taffeta and Lace Cocktail Dress from the 1950's. Silk taffeta is tucked through the waist which opens into a full bouffant bubble skirt supported inside with tulle. Dress has a crepe base with skinny skirt trimmed in a deep hem of tiny lace ruffles. The bodice liner is crepe as well and is overlaid with a lace ruffle embroidered cap sleeved sheer top. A really iconic cocktail dress based on the Haute Couture designs of the period, built for a tall slim individual. Mignon 1950's USA. Small size 0-2-4.
