About the Item
A classic black cocktail dress with a little something extra by Anne Marie Gabalis for Mignon. This stunning dress combines a 1980's silhouette, including strong shoulders and an asymmetrical ruched flounce at the hip, with a dramatic burnout velvet fabric that takes the look from feminine to fierce. The lined dress zips and hooks at the back with lightweight netting at the hem and flounce. Originally retailed at Isaacson's of Atlanta, a ladies boutique specializing in high end fashions popular in the mid and late 20th century.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with some light wear to the lining.

MEASUREMENTS
Marked a size 10 and best fits a modern day size 6 and perhaps a size 8 with attention to the following measurements. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4 and the dress was too large.
