LOVE LALI VINTAGE
A very rare wedding dress from Monique Lhuillier's Fall 2010 bridal line.
This gown is just magical to behold, it really breathtakingly beautiful in the most ethereal and romantic of ways, like something out of a film!
It features a strapless cut with a little U in the centre neckline, a fitted upper and waist, and a wonderfully princess style skirt full of volume composed of many layers of tulle. The upper part has a the most wonderful floral lace embroidered overlay that forms a double peplum at the front via structured mesh that cascades down the back of the dress creating a lovely appearance of tiers.
The dress features many layers. The most inner is the lining, then 3 layers of rigid mesh that work to create the volume, 1 layer of silk and then 8 layers of fine tulle.

Condition:
The dress overall is in beautiful condition - there are no marks, or stains. There are a couple flaws to the tulle, which is always to be expected with pre owned dresses featuring tulle. I noticed a couple of very minor repairs - very small, lost amongst the layers, I did photograph one of these, so please go through the pictures. The only one of note, is one big tear in the tulle at the font left hand side. This needs to be repaired with a transparent thread used specially for tulle repairs. Please keep in mind that tulle is very fine and completely sheer, and falls in many layers, so unless someone is running a hand individually under each layer, they cannot be seen at all, and worn you would never ever see any flaws. This one however as it is a larger tear, doesn't fall correctly, once stitched, it will fall in among the layers and blend seamlessly. I have taken a photo of it.
