We call it the “Lauren Bacall” dress. LOVE a tailored but sexy cocktail dress. This vintage beauty by Los Angeles designer Nicole Bakti. A imported heavy black Jersey is trimmed on sleeves, bodice and tie with rhinestone trim. The dress fits beautifully, starting with a strong sexy shoulder (just wide enough to make a statement). It is as chic as it is easy to wear. The asymmetrical front tail gives you height and shape. Size M. Bakti dresses run true to size. The dress will fit a 6-8 and maybe a slim 10.
The World of Nicole Bakti:
Aida, a third generation designer, is a true artist at heart. After graduating from Otis Parson in 1986, she became the head designer at an evening wear company. Aida has always followed her passion and through a remarkable series of opportunities that came her way, she used her innate talent and mother’s advice in 1996 to build a fashion design house under the name NICOLE BAKTI. Today you can find her collection in fine department stores and speciality stores throughout the US, Canada, Japan, Europe and South America. She believes that women want to look sexy and feminine, especially when it comes to evening wear, which is what she does best. Famous throughout the world, NICOLE BAKTI by Aida is a well-known designer brand for occasions ranging from formal dinners to red carpet events.
