Rare long collector's evening dress, French Haute Couture by Nicole Groult, famous sister of Paul Poiret and dating from the 1935s. Sleeveless dress in carmine red silk velvet underlined with Swarovski rhinestone embroidery with Indian palm leaves. Elegant centered pleats emphasizing the bustier on the shoulders. Dress lined in champagne satin, without zip or side opening and beautiful cream grosgrain label embroidered with "Nicole Groult, 25 Faubourg Saint Honoré". No flaw. Very good condition of color and conservation. Very small size, more to display than to wear.
