If you lack Lady Godiva’s tresses for cover, try this exquisite bed set: in slick silk charmeuse, it barely touches the outline of your form and glides over the body like water. Would also make a daring alternative bridal gown, with the bed jacket worn as a bolero. Vintage bias cut nightgown and bed jacket of nude silk charmeuse and taupe lace. V neck gown features lace cap sleeves and V bodice with nude chiffon and charmeuse insets over breasts and navel and across low back; mitered charmeuse ties fixed at center waist and can be left trailing in front or tied in back. Pullover construction with no closures of any kind. Matching collarless bed jacket with dolman cut charmeuse half sleeves and lace body; notched at neck and low back. Early 1930s peach embroidered floral slip in incredible antique condition. This piece is made from a man made silk blend in a really beautiful soft peach colour. There are some pleasing design details on this dress including the embroidered neckline with flowers that look like fuchsias.
