About the Item
Pauline Trigere black Guipure lace over gold lame', 2pc skirt set from the 1980s. The top has a jewel neckline and is seamed at the waist, flaring at the hem. The sleeves have padded shoulders and full and padded at the top tapering to the wrist. The top closes at the back with self covered buttons from the neck to the hem, there is a single snap at the top. The sleeve cuffs and top hem are finished with a scallop lace hem. Fully lined in black silk chiffon. The matching skirt has a banded waist, a piece has been added to the waist band end to make more room. The skirt is lightly gathered at the waist and falls straight to the hem, the hem is finished with a scalloped edge of lace. Fully lined in black silk, the lining hem is finished with a band of synthetic horse hair to create a slight fullness. A beautiful set. Fits like a size 8, check measurements below. The belt is not included, a hammered brass belt from Morocco from the 1970s.
