Striking Ralph Lauren runway evening gown from the Fall 2011 collection, both an iconic runway look from a legendary collection and a museum piece that was on display at the American Museum in Paris. Made in black crepe with a fluid, floor-length silhouette, the gown features a stunning beaded bodice with a large butterfly motif rendered in gold and silver bugle beads and sequins.
The deep V-neckline is framed by subtly structured shoulders and full-length sleeves finished with chevron beadwork. The bodice is fully lined; the skirt skims the body and falls cleanly to the hem. Side zipper closure.
A rare and collectible runway piece that channels 1930s glamour through Ralph Lauren’s signature lens of American luxury.
