About the Item

Rudi Gernreich designed this graphic dress in saffron yellow with a violet colored criss-cross band, inventing the "Cross Your Heart" dress. This band accentuates the cut in armholes, the bust and the raised waistline. The dress is cut narrow and close fitting at the top and gradually widens into an A line skirt. It is designed for Harmon Knitwear and is marked a size 8. please check the measurements below as sizes have changed. The dress is in excellent condition with a center back invisible zipper dating it to the late 1960's. It is made from a blend of acetate and linen. Measurements; Shoulders 14" Bust 32" Waist 32" Hips 36" Length 33"
