This mesmerising 1930's midnight blue silk brocade dress with a silver lamé thread accent, is a rare piece to behold The straight cut neckline of the dress is set off by a wonderful single shoulder strap which is elegantly pleated and gathered, draping over the shoulder into a slight sleeve. The wonderful pleats that radiate from the shoulder strap drape into the fitted boned bodice. The cinched in waistline is accented by matching silk pipping. Some very small scattered holed can be found within the drapes silk of the skirt line, these are not apparent externally and only visible when the dress is looked at from underneath. Some very light colour variation to the silk along the left hand side of the dress, this is light sunlight fading and the silk appears a lighter shade of blue purple in some areas. Very light age marks concealed within the wonderful lamé and brocade drape...
