About the Item
This beautiful 1950s Lancel haute couture dress has a beaded waist and is made in a luxurious wool.
The dress doesn't have a lining, as it was common to wear a separate lingerie dress or suit in those days.
It's hard to believe this dress dates back to the 1950s, as it looks so contemporary and could easily be mistaken for a piece from the latest runway collections.
I really love the special details on the dress, like the armholes, back neckline, and especially the beading around the waist, which is still in perfect condition even after all this time. The beads are securely attached and won't come off when you wear the dress, thanks to its excellent condition.
We used pins to attach the dress to our doll for the pictures, so please use the measurements that are taken flat for the best fit. (picture 9 and 11 dress not pinned).
