About the Item

This incredible vintage 1960s lace column dress is giving Bridgerton in the best way possible, with the empire waist cut, and "Watteau" back, with a waterfall cape. The dress is fitted through the bodice, and cut in a straight column cut from the empire waist down. The entire dress is crafted from yellow lace, which is fully lined in matching opaque yellow, except for the cape back, which is sheer to really show the lightness and beauty of the lace. The satin waistband is echoed by satin bows at the shoulders. Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small/Small/possibly Medium depending on chest size. Please refer to below measurements to be sure. (There is room to let the dress out and make the bodice larger, or the chest measurement could obviously be taken in.) Chest: note that the chest is very built out with darts, to accomodate up to 36", but will look good on a smaller chest as well Empire waist: 27" Hips: open up to 41" Length: about 54" shoulder to hem Great vintage condition, with some light wear throughout, including discoloration to the lining interior (not visible when worn) and some repairs to the lace at hem. There is some discoloration near the back zipper area, but it is covered by the lace cape when worn. The lace at the cape's hem has some uneven edges, but it's only visible when close up/not noticeable when worn.
