Vintage 1960 s Silver Sequin Beaded Column Evening Dress UK 14-16 US 10-12

About the Item

This truly mesmerising 1960's fully sequin and bead embellished dress on a black tulle base which is overlaid upon a champagne coloured satin, is a true masterpiece to behold. The dark silver sequins, are framed by gun metal grey glass bugle beads in a checkered pattern throughout the dress. The straight cut neckline of the dress, is framed by wide bead and sequin embellished shoulder straps, in a striped bead and sequin pattern. The fitted bodice of the dress is accented by internal darts along the bust-line and tailored seams which draw in the waistline. The elegant straight column cut of the skirt-line, is finished with a central back slit along the hemline, completing this dress in a timeless and iconic silhouette. This dress is fully lined in pink taffeta silk and boasts internal clits to secure ones bra in place. Label: None   Measurements Of The Dress  Armpit to Armpit: up to 40 inches Shoulder to Hem: 52.5 inches   Waist: up to 36 inches   Hips: up to 42 inches Fastenings: 17.5 inch metal zip and a single hook and eye Size: UK 14-16 US 10-12  Condition: The dress is in perfect vintage condition. Light and natural bead loss, which is to be expected, but none of this is noticeable when the dress is being worn, and only apparent upon very close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product condition report.   Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned   Fabric: Taffeta silk lining, satin under-layer, tulle, sequins, glass beads.
