1900s Eastern European Folk Wear Ensemble Delicately Embroidered Jacket
Vest : This extraordinary genuine folkloric ensemble features exquisite detailing on a black wool felt jacket with puffed sleeves. Be sure to study the pictures to see all of the intricate details such as fine silk brocade ribbon-work, bouillon hand made lace trim, traditional-style embroidered needlework as well as unusual cartridge pleat styling at back waist forming a small structured peplum. Original coordinating vest in lightweight crimson wool, metal filigree and enamel buttons. Vest and jacket are lined in a fine ecru cotton. Fits a modern US 4-6.
