About the Item
This is a striking Arnold Scaasi cropped evening jacket dating to the 1960’s. Made in black fabric with a sculptural quality, the piece is richly adorned with dimensional floral appliqués and raised embroidered lace that give the surface a textured, almost three-dimensional effect. The silhouette is tailored yet feminine, featuring a round neckline, structured shoulders, and elbow-length sleeves. Cut to fall just above the waist, the jacket has an open front without closures, allowing it to be styled easily over evening dresses or gowns.
he jacket shows Scaasi’s skill in blending intricate detail with structured design. An uncommon piece from the 1960s, it reflects his eye for distinctive evening wear.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Overall condition is very good. Very slight fading and a very small repair at lining which leads me to believe it have have had snaps at some point. Could easily be added.
