1960s Gold Lamé Jacket With Beaded Trim and Bishops Sleeves

Early and desirable 1970s Biba sequin jacket in superb vintage condition. The jacket is very slim cut with Art Deco influenced tailoring. There are no fastenings or lapels so this is a type of swing jacket which clings and hugs the body. With all-over copper sequinned embellishment, there is a small padded insert to the puff sleeved shoulder with tapered sleeves toward the cuff. Lined in a corresponding copper polyester jersey. This piece really belongs in a serious collection or museum and is just as wearable today as it was over 50 years ago.
